Taxonomy
Chrismooreia michaelbehei was named by Bechly (2018). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Charmouth (Chris Moore collection), which is in an Obtusum marine mudstone in the Charmouth Mudstone Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Chrismooreia.
