Taxonomy
Zygokaratawia incompleta was named by Huang et al. (2018). Its type specimen is NIGP 167276, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
