Cardiocystella prolixora
Taxonomy
Cardiocystella prolixora was named by Sumrall et al. (2009). It is not extant. Its type specimen is 1791TX13 (Theca). Its type locality is Cardiocystella collection, north Sawmill Canyon, which is in a Sunwaptan shallow subtidal lime mudstone/wackestone in the Whipple Cave Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Cardiocystella.
