Defined as "subord.nov." in Lefebvre and Vizcaino 1990, but they give authority to (Ubaghs, 1969) who treated it as Family Amygdalothecidae. Giving authority to Lefebvre and Vizcaino 1990 instead because they continue to use Family Amygdalothecidae Ubaghs 1969
