Cryptopsar ischyrhynchus (Mauritius starling)
Taxonomy
Cryptopsar ischyrhynchus was named by Hume (2014). Its type specimen is MNHN MAD6931, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vallée des Prêtres, which is in a Holocene terrestrial horizon in Mauritius. It is the type species of Cryptopsar.
