Cholamys tetralophodonta
Taxonomy
Cholamys tetralophodonta was named by Pérez et al. (2018). Its type specimen is UF 114863, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Salla (Upper white zone, unit 6), which is in a Deseadan terrestrial horizon in the Salla Beds Formation of Bolivia. It is the type species of Cholamys.
