Hongchoristites martinsoni
Taxonomy
Choristites martinsoni was named by Hong (2005). Its type specimen is 82TH6-1/T149, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Tongchuan, which is in a Longobardian lacustrine mudstone in the Yanchang Formation of China. It is the type species of Choristites, Hongchoristites.
It was recombined as Hongchoristites martinsoni by Rivaz Hernández (2018).
