Gallirallus epulare (Nuku Hiva rail)
Taxonomy
Gallirallus epulare was named by Kirchman and Steadman (2007). Its type specimen is BPBM 181658, a set of limb elements (left ulna), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ha'atuatua Dune, Nuku Hiva, which is in a Holocene terrestrial horizon in French Polynesia.
