It was recombined as Chione securis by Etherington (1931), Clark (1932) and Weaver (1942); it was recombined as Venus (Chione) securis by Grant and IV and Gale (1931); it was recombined as Chione (Securella) securis by Trumbull and Schumard (1958); it was recombined as Securella securis by Parker (1949) and Faustman (1964).
