Protodichobune hellmundi
Taxonomy
Protodichobune hellmundi was named by Godinot et al. (2018) [authorship should be attributed solely to Erfurt]. Its type specimen is MNHN.RZ 120, a mandible (mandible with p2-m3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rouzilhac, which is in a Ypresian/Lutetian coarse channel fill sandstone/siltstone in the Molasse de Carcassonne Formation of France.
