Ekorus ekakeran
Taxonomy
Ekorus ekakeran was named by Werdelin (2003). Its type specimen is KNM-LT 23125, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lothagam-Lower Nawata Mb., which is in a Tortonian/Messinian fluvial mudstone/sandstone in the Nawata Formation of Kenya. It is the type species of Ekorus.
