Taxonomy
Dytikodorcas longicornis was named by Bouvrain and de Bonis (2007). Its type specimen is LGPUT DKO 107 , a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dytiko-3, which is in a Turolian terrestrial marl/sandstone in the Dytiko Formation of Greece. It is the type species of Dytikodorcas.
