Taxonomy
Symphysurina myopia was named by Westrop and in Landing et al (2003). It is not extant. Its type locality is NYSM locality TRQ-32, Top of Wolfville Mbr., which is in a Skullrockian reef, buildup or bioherm grainstone/bindstone in the Tribes Hill Formation of New York.
