Palaeouloborus cowdeni
Taxonomy
Macryphantes cowdeni was named by Selden (1990). Its type specimen is IEI LC 1753 AP, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is La Cabrua outcrop, Sierra del Montsec (IEI collection), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large lime mudstone in the la Pedrera de Rubies Formation of Spain.
It was recombined as Palaeouloborus cowdeni by Wunderlich (2015).
