Taxonomy
Podistra (Absidia) kloevedali was named by Fanti and Damgaard (2018). Its type specimen is ALDC0457/ALD.Ba.Can.21, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber (Damgaard collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Lycocerus kloevedali by Kazantsev (2020).
