Taxonomy
Baiera baishanensis was named by Zhao et al. (2016). Its type specimen is YZB001A, B, a leaf, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Yingzuilazi village, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large shale in the Yingzuilazi Formation of China.
