Taxonomy
Libanodiamesa simpsoni was named by Baranov et al. (2018). Its type specimen is NHMUK PI II.3108, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Wealden amber, Chilton Chine, Isle of Wight (NHMUK collection), which is in a Barremian terrestrial amber in the United Kingdom.
