Saccolaimus kenyensis
Taxonomy
Saccolaimus kenyensis was named by Gunnell and Manthi (2018). Its type specimen is KNM-KP 44927, a tooth (right M1/), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kanapoi Nzube's Mandible Site, which is in a Pliocene terrestrial horizon in the Kanapoi Formation of Kenya.
