Taxonomy
Mycetobia perkovskyi was named by Wojtoń et al. (2019). Its type specimen is SIZK 872, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Rovno Amber, Ukryantar factory material (SIZK UA collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Ukraine.
