Anthracomya jidoensis was named by Kobayashi (1933). It is a mold. Its type locality is Ritzujiri, Bitanmen, Heishogun, Kogen-do, which is in an Artinskian/Kungurian fluvial-lacustrine shale in South Korea.
It was recombined as Anthracosia jidoensis by Hayami and Kase (1977).
