Taxonomy
Yananoconcha minor was named by Yu and Zhang (1980). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Institute of Geology, Chinese Academy of Geosciences, Beijing, M0276. Its type locality is Wenjiagou, Yan'an, which is in a Jurassic lacustrine horizon in the Yan'an Formation of China. It is the type species of Yananoconcha.
