Rhinopithecus tingianus
Taxonomy
Rhinopithecus tingianus was named by Matthew and Granger (1923). Its type specimen is AMNH 18466, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yen-ching-kao, which is in a Pleistocene/Pleistocene terrestrial horizon in China.
It was recombined as Rhinopithecus roxellana tingianus by Jablonski (2002).
