Cardiatherium talicei
Taxonomy
Cardiatherium talicei was named by Francis and Jones (1965). It is not extant. Its type specimen is No 10-VIII-63-1 SPV - FHC, a partial skull (posterior part of skull and manible). Its type locality is Barrancas de San Gregorio (of Francis & Mones, 1965), which is in a Serravallian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Kiyu Formation of Uruguay.
