Sinitshenkovae huenickeni
Taxonomy
Philiasptilon huenickeni was named by Pinto and de Ornellas (1978). Its type specimen is CORD-PZ 2100, a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Bajo de Veliz (CORD collection), which is in a Kasimovian/Gzhelian floodplain siltstone in the Bajo de Veliz Formation of Argentina.
It was recombined as Sinitshenkovae huenickeni by Nel et al. (2019).
