Taxonomy
Xenocardia diversidens was named by Pascual and Bondesio (1963). It is not extant. Its type locality is Loma de Camello (Huachipampa), which is in a Chasicoan delta plain mudstone/sandstone in the Huachipampa Formation of Argentina.
