Nanopithecus browni
Taxonomy
Nanopithecus browni was named by Plavcan et al. (2019). Its type specimen is KNM-KP 53150 A and B, a set of teeth (right m3 and m2 found in association), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kanapoi Nzube's Mandible Site, which is in a Pliocene terrestrial horizon in the Kanapoi Formation of Kenya.
