Taxonomy
Ipciphyllum zandaense was named by Wang et al. (2019). Its type specimen is NIGP 148089 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gyanyima Section, unit 7, Zanda County, which is in a Changhsingian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Gyanyima Formation of China.
