Lophopetalumoxylon indicum
Taxonomy
Lophopetalumoxylon indicum was named by Mehrotra et al. (1984). It is not extant. Its type specimen is BSIP 35535, a wood. Its type locality is Ghughua, Shahpura, which is in a Paleogene fluvial horizon in the Deccan Intertrappean Formation of India.
