Taxonomy
Callavia perfecta was named by Walcott (1913) [type locality is Loc. 61k (Cambrian of Canada) [PBDB 10866]]. Its type specimen is USNM 60081 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Nevadella perfecta by Lieberman (2001).
