Teleopternus orientalis

Taxonomy
Teleopternus orientalis was named by Cope (1899). Its type specimen is ANSP 39, a set of teeth (left dp4 (described as right m3) and fragmentary upper molar), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Port Kennedy Cave, which is in an Irvingtonian cave horizon in Pennsylvania. It is the type species of Teleopternus.
