Epipeltephilus kanti
Taxonomy
Epipeltephilus kanti was named by Gonzalez-Ruiz et al. (2012). Its type specimen is MLP 92-XI-19-7, an osteoderm (three fixed osteoderms of the dorsal shield (Figure), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Arroyo Chasicó, which is in a Chasicoan floodplain sandstone in the Arroyo Chasicó Formation of Argentina.
