Taxonomy
Palaeocardita glaukos was named by McLearn (1941). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Geological Survey Ottawa, No. 8798. Its type locality is Barren Gully, Pardonet Hill, which is in a Tuvalian perireef or subreef packstone/grainstone in the Baldonnel Formation of Canada.
