Taxonomy
Rhineoderma venustiformis was named by Licharew (1967). Its type specimen is TsNIGR 8336/4, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Deseretospira venustiformis by Mazaev (2019); it was recombined as Paragoniozona venustiformis by Karapunar and Nützel (2022).
