Taxonomy
Eozaentetrix furi was named by Zessin (2017). Its type specimen is Witteck 2452, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Island of Fur (Witteck coll), which is in a Ypresian offshore ramp mudstone in the Moler Formation of Denmark.
