Plesigomphaeschnaoides danica
Taxonomy
Gomphaeschna danica was named by Madsen and Nel (1997). Its type specimen is NR 3 coll. Madsen, a hindwing (nearly complete hindwing ), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Between layers +13 & +14 Ejerslev Molergrav, Mors, which is in a Ypresian offshore ramp diatomite/volcaniclastic in the Fur Formation of Denmark.
It was recombined as Plesigomphaeschnaoides danica by Bechly et al. (2001).
