Protestudo bessarabica

Taxonomy
Testudo bessarabica was named by Riabinin (1918). Its type specimen is PIN 1451 (lectotype), a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Agrionemys bessarabica by Lujan et al. (2016); it was recombined as Protestudo bessarabica by Syromyatnikova et al. (2019).
