Plegaderus pitoni
Taxonomy
Hister pitoni was named by Théobald (1935). Its type specimen is MNHN.F.R07712, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Lac Chambon (Piton coll), which is in a Gelasian crater lake diatomite/volcaniclastic in France.
It was recombined as Plegaderus pitoni by Degallier et al. (2019).
