Ontogryllus vetus

Taxonomy
Gryllus vetus was named by Cockerell (1921). Its type specimen is BMNH In. 34328, a tegmen, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (Hooley coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Ontogryllus vetus by Gorochov (2019).
