Portunus haitensis
Taxonomy
Portunus (Portunus) haitensis was named by Rathbun (1923). Its type specimen is USNM 333430, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is River Blanche, which is in a Miocene marine horizon in Haiti.
It was recombined as Portunus haitensis by Schweitzer et al. (2010) and Luque et al. (2017).
