Taxonomy
Tytthonyx (Tytthonyx) stadili was named by Fanti and Damgaard (2019). Its type specimen is ALDC0529/ALD.Do.Can.1, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (Damgaard coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
