Archaeomylodon sampedrinensis
Taxonomy
Archaeomylodon sampedrinensis was named by Brambilla and Ibarra (2018). Its type specimen is MPS 119, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cantera Iglesias, which is in an Ensenadan terrestrial carbonate in the Ensenada Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Archaeomylodon.
