Ctenomys thomasi
Taxonomy
Ctenomys thomasi was named by Lucero et al. (2008). Its type specimen is MLP Pv 04-V-2-1, a partial skull (Cráneo incompleto con series dentarias completas y ambas ramas mandibulares), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Centinela del Mar (CdM) - Nivel B, which is in an Ensenadan terrestrial siltstone in Argentina.
