Taxonomy
Dechenella carvalhoae was named by Lieberman (1994) [= Dechenella (Dechenella) cf. verneuili (Barrande, 1852). Kielan, 1954: 17, pl. 3, figs. 8, 9.]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Grzegorzowice - Skaly section, which is in a Givetian marine horizon in the Nieczulice Formation of Poland.
