Taxonomy
Basidechenella cartwrightae was named by Lieberman (1994) [= Dechenella (Basidechenella) pulchra Stumm, 1953a: 119, pl. 3, fig. 4;
= Dechenella (Basidechenella) pulchra Kesling et al., 1974: pl. 12, fig. 27.]. Its type specimen is UMMP 25514 and is a 3D body fossil.
