Allophalerus aphaleratus

Taxonomy
Tetraphalerus aphaleratus was named by Ponomarenko (1969). Its type specimen is PIN 1059/74, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Kyzyl-Kiya (PIN collection 1059), which is in a Pliensbachian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in Kyrgyzstan. It is the type species of Allophalerus.

It was recombined as Brochocoleus aphaleratus by Ponomarenko (1997); it was recombined as Allophalerus aphaleratus by Kirejtshuk (2020).
