Lisowicia bojani
Taxonomy
Lisowicia bojani was named by Sulej and Niedźwiedzki (2019). It is not extant. Its type specimen is ZPAL V.33/96, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Lipie Slaskie clay-pit, Lisowice, which is in a Norian/Rhaetian terrestrial claystone in the Zbaszynek Beds/Wielichowo Beds Formation of Poland. It is the type species of Lisowicia.

Niedźwiedzki 2019 | The dicynodont differs from all other dicynodonts as it possesses the following unique combination of character states, visible in the holotype (ZPAL V.33/96, left humerus): 1) the humerus has a narrower entepicondyle in comparison with other dicynodonts (autapomorphy); 2) the entepicondylar foramen of the humerus is absent (autapomorphy); 3) the supinator process is longer (it is 31% of the total humerus length) than in other dicynodonts. |
