Taxonomy
Taublatta yaga was named by Aristov (2019). Its type specimen is PIN 5252/12, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Khey-Yaga, outcrop no. 196 (PIN collection 5252), which is in an Anisian terrestrial shale in the Nyadeita Formation of the Russian Federation.
