Pherodactylus

Taxonomy

Pherodactylus was named by Poinar et al. (2020). Its type is Pherodactylus micromorphus. It is the type genus of Pherodactylina.

It was assigned to Gryllidae by Poinar et al. (2020); to Pseudogryllotalpidae by Gu et al. (2024); and to Pherodactylina by Cadena-Castañeda et al. (2023), Cadena-Castañeda et al. (2024).
