Onoana californica
Taxonomy
Onoana californica was named by Chandler and Axelrod (1961). Its type specimen is British l\Iuseum (Nat. History) No. V. 42334, a seed/fruit, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Roaring River, Ono, which is in a Hauterivian marine sandstone/mudstone in the Budden Canyon Formation of California. It is the type species of Onoana.
