Taxonomy
Asaphellus isabelae was named by Meroi Arcerito et al. (2015). Its type specimen is CEGH-UNC 25751, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is DLA 28 (Arenal), which is in a Tremadocian offshore siliciclastic/siliciclastic in the Santa Rosita Formation of Argentina.
